From the minute you enter this site it is evident that Daisey is an artist. The site is easy to look at with a very nice, original colour scheme. The page is packed with the things that daisey does, and the blog only forms part of the whole, but its easy enough to find. I am not reviewing the whole site, only the blog, so here goes.
Daiseys weblog is a diary of her day to day life, there isnt a post every day but the seamless style of her writing carries you along without noticing the odd gap here and there. Daisey is a very happy person and its infectious, I found myself laughing along with her. I got a real sense of what this girl is all about, but there is also a bio to fill in any gaps you may have, although I would urge you to read the entries first. This is a site written by an artist and it comes across in her use of words, and the way she describes the things in her life. I have read lots of diary blogs and usually find them quite introspective and boring, but this is different, I could read this for hours and not get tired.
As I mentioned in the preamble this site is very easy to look at, the design works well with the style of the writing, both perfectly reflecting the writers personality.. All the links work, and are well worth following. The posts are archived daily, but you can find all the previous posts in an easy to navigate archive system. Some of the links open pop-up windows, and the browser re-sets to the top of the page which is a little annoying, but that doesnt detract from what is a very nicely laid out site.
All things considered I gave this site a 4. This isnt ground breaking stuff, but its extremely well designed and very well written. If you are feeling in need of cheering up this girls lust for life will carry you along. Well worth bookmarking, its one I will be visiting again.
