What a distinctly original site! The emphasis on family happenings provides a welcomed break from all the angsty teenage melodrama that dominates many weblogs.
While some might equate a “family” theme with “boring”, there is a certain quaintness here that sucked me in and engaged me emotionally. I cared when I read that the boys’ (her children) pet hamster died.
The color scheme is girly but passable. I’m really not a fan of gray backgrounds – especially when the text on top of it is a lighter shade of gray. The left-hand vertical bar (where most of the text is) is too narrow to read comfortably. It makes the eyes jump down a line after every 3 or 4 words. Not good.
The photography section is a real treat. The author has a very skilled hand and a nice digital camera. It shows. The subjects generally fall within the “nature and domestic life” category.
The intended audience is for their family to keep tabs on the boys, but I suspect this site will appeal to many many more.

This is another one of those ego-stroking, breast and fan-sign showing, obnoxious, self-agrandizing thrones unto popularity. The author explicitly denies this, yet runs a fan club unto himself. Right.
Highlights include pictures of mediocre naked men and women wrapped in saran wrap. Why? I don’t know.
The author’s sense of humor is juvenile, yet occasionally entertaining. For example: he pulls ebay auction pranks. Whoopie.
There is a fair amount of inter-website drama doing down perpetually on the main page.
This site does a fine job of being a portal. There are lots of links to pictures, webcams, bands, and free stuff. The graphics are very tame, and standard fare for this style of weblog.
If you’re into goofy/silly/prank humor, or mediocre breasts wrapped in saran-wrap, this site may be for you.

Definitley not your average teenager’s weblog. Incisive, well written, and impassioned. Dare I even say inspirational, but damn, this boy can write.
The design is intelligible, but not to the point that it’s just plain boring. The colors work well, the navigation is simple. It doesn’t detract from the content at all, which is important for this site.
Stereoboy.org is one of those domain names that actually fits the fodder of the site. He writes about the music that affects him, almost as beautifully as the lyrics themselves. After quoting a Harvey Danger song, he says:
“It reminds of someone calmly screaming ‘I will not be like those that came before me. I will be the one that will not go quietly into the night.’ The one that leaves you irreversibly changed and tugs on your heartstrings so hard that you will forever be altered – for better or worse.”
He has a purpose in his writing, unlike many weblogs out there.
His opinions are original and well stated; he has the confidence in his beliefs that is necessary to make a point. The points he makes are interesting.
Overall, stereoboy.org is well worth a look or two. I highly recommend it.stereoboy.org

Here, ladies and gentlemen, is a fine specimen of a weblog if I have ever seen one. The layout is crisp (black text on white background), the entries are concise and interesting, the navigation is easy, and the photo section is artsy.
The frequent links to outside sites are timely and of top quality. His politics are right-on, and his links allow the thinking reader to make their own decisions.
The author seems very intelligent and thoughtful. This site definitely deserves more than the measley 10 visitors a day it’s been getting.

Wow! This site rocks! The author spews forth his opinion on books, operating systems, geek toys, and movies.
The site is deliciously colored. The green and yellow – mmmmm yummy like Jolly Ranchers.
The language is highly articulate. The author really goes the extra mile to make his writings funny and entertaining.
The photo section is full of pictures of the most adorable dog (lab?) you can ever hope to see.
While not intensely personal, this site really nails what it sets out to be: a random dumping ground of disparate thoughts, links, and reviews.
