I gotta admit I picked this weblog because I’m big fan of it. Not that that’ll bias me in anyway at all. Brian has got a certain flair to his posts, it’s a mix between real life and the sometimes strange workings of his mind. (Okay most of the time strange workings.) If you’re a first time visitor or been away awhile then most likely you’ll get a little confused because of inside jokes you might have missed. It’s not an unlikely occurence that you’ll find something to cause you to laugh out loud, or will offend you in some way. But Brian posts it all, everything that’s pretty much going on without sparing anyone’s sensabilities.

The layout is an interesting design, the normal posts with information down the side. But it’s edited nicely, loads fast, and is nice and crisp, and gives the guys a thrill if you stare at a certain picture too long.

I’d have to say this weblog has acheived the best mixture of reality and humor, and would be a great read for anyone looking to have a laugh.Temporal Pleasure

I’ve been a regular reader of ben’s since he was a pitas and I have to say this site is a far step up…

The weblog is as funny and filled with the same amount of self-deprecating humor as it ever was. The design is far superior then the old one and much more interesting. This site also offers far more features then the last one, while most are links they are still entertaining ones, and the title sure lives up to it’s name with some off -color stuff found on ben’s page.

In all though this is pretty complete and once everything is up I would say this site goes from pretty good to excellentunconformity

I almost forgot that I had to review this blog because I just got so into this site. Apparently, a while ago someone else had reviewed Chris’s site and he didn’t quite like what was said. Not sure what exactly was said about his site, however I really enjoyed a lot.

I just kept reading and reading and reading; his words just rolls off the screen so well. He writes direct and doesn’t try and put too many details to fog his feelings and ideas which is good. Chris talks mostly about what’s going on in his life, like being a single parent, his new girlfriend who he clearly cares about, his 2 kids and his struggle to find some work.

But what makes his site one of the best is his optimistic outlook about life and always finds the positive in any situation, even in those painful moments of life where life seems all too real. I think we need more people like him in this world.without coffee, I have no personality at all

After checking out this site, I swear I’m gonna have to make a run to the store to make these Midnight Brownies that the author kept talking about. In just a few posts, she spoke about BBQ chicken, M&Ms and brownies.

Okay, enough about the food, I’m supposed to reviewing the log …

A post discussing … well the chickens, I started to laugh because she gives those people who work at any fast food restaurant who specialize in chicken how to make a mockery of the food you have to work with. All you need is a little roasted chicken, a little imagination and an audience and you got a great puppet show!! Give some quality entertainment for those waiting for their orders. Or as she likes to call it: BBQ Chicken Porn. Makes you want to say, “Hey kids, let’s go down and get some dinner and watch some chicken porn!”

A definite plus about reading her site is Miss Shauny is her writing. She has a degree in journalism and I don’t think I’ve come across a site who tells a story that will use actual line breaks when two people are speaking. Someone that applies those things you learned in school.

Elsewhere on her site, she has a “snaps” section of photos from concerts, vacations and just random shots of other moments; she also did a bit of photojournalism. I personally liked the 50’s style of pics she has on the different sections of her site like the very “posed” shot of probably a tv housewife on the phone in her bio area of the site.

You must see check out the site; at least go to see the drawing of the “Work Food Chain” and where she’s located at … I think it’s somewhere near that algae of some sort …

I was a little apprehensive about

reviewing this one. It has been

sitting on the “to be reviewed” list for

quite some time, and no one has

reviewed it. I had actually attempted

to do so days ago, but the page

would not load.

That must have been the reason no

one reviewed it. Today, the page

loaded, albeit slowly, and I was

pleasantly suprised to find a very

entertaining weblog. The entries

ranged from short one-liners to

lengthy stories. The longer entries

were what I liked best, comprised of

funny tales of recent event; from the

attempt to save an injured bird to

running out of gas (or petrol, as the

Australians say). The author had a

unique perspective on life, which she

was able to portray with humor, wit,

and color. I thoroughly enjoyed her

entries.

Most of the site ingredients, including

the author’s bio, interests, and links,

were presented on the same page

as the weblog. I wished to learn

more about the author, but I had to

make do with what was there.

If you like to read a good story and

are up for some laughs, make sure

you check out What’s New Pussycat?what’s new pussycat?
