Looking only at the weblog part of this site, I’d have to say it’s really nothing special. The artistic abilities of the author are nothing short of amazing, yet can’t he spare a few moments to spice up the main part of his site with a few images? Of course, I hate images because they take forever to LOAD, but still, he has the ability… Why not apply it?
I’d really have to say the posts are so/so with a few ups and downs here and there. Nothing really captured my attention for any length of time. I would say that the “art” section kept me busy, but I’m really not an aesthetic for other peoples’ computer-oriented art skills.
If I could make any recommendations to this author it would be to sit down and think about your posts more. You have your own DOMAIN, so lots of people will be coming to the site. Give them something flashy, yet QUICK loading. Use some CSS or something like I do. You’ve got what it takes to be an interesting site, it’s just that there’s too much “blah”-ness soaking into your page. Well, at least the main page. Main pages are supposed to be visually stunning, no?xfinity.net

Who ever said web sites have to be in English? I looked at this site and despite the fact that I don’t speak Dutch, I was pretty impressed by the layout. It’s simple yet elegant, and easy to navigate even if you don’t speak the language. You can probably guess what the links on the left lead to. It’s a sad thing that I can’t review the site based on content because of certain language barriers.
All in all, this site deserves the 4.5 I gave it. Idealy a site should be in English since you are submitting to a non-dutch speaking web site. The layout has definatly made up for it.BoogBlog

My initial impression of Enigmous was that of a well-developed, highly organized website. Though the design isn’t exactly what I would call original, I must admit that functionality and ease of navigation are much more important than having a new idea. Besides, with all of the weblogs on the internet you don’t really have a great chance of coming up with something “original” anyway.
The posts, to be brief, are quite interesting and generally well written. It’s nice to know that some people take their projects seriously, and there is NO doubt that Enigmous’ staff is very adept at doing so.
The organization is amazing. Being a NewsPro user (at least in the past) I recognized the current headlines, comments, and reviews as “built-in” organization functions of NewsPro, and cannot fully credit this aspect of the site to the authors.
Everything you want access to is right there to the right, or to the left if you’re navigating the site’s sections and ignoring the articles.
About the only bad thing I found on the site were a few bugs in their coding. Go to the “Reviews” section by clicking on a “Recent Review” link. You’ll notice that there is a link in the left navigation to go to “Main”. Well, if you click on that link you’ll notice that it brings you right back to the reviews.
Also, why have extended navigation to Fiction, Non Fiction, Movies, etc., when you don’t have navigation TO these areas on the main site?
I guess it’s just me, but it seems this site is only “half” organized. When NewsPro is left to doing it everything’s fine, but when the authors make an attempt they kind of lose touch with reality.
All in all, this weblog was enjoyable to visit, however the organization and navigation could confuse someone like myself. If you have a few moments and want to see, regardless of the few problems I mentioned, a remarkable site I would highly recommend looking at Enigmous.

Pentameter (which means “a line of verse consisting of five metrical feet” incidentally) is an alright weblog.
It initially struck me as a bit cluttered, but the design is actually quite straightforward but still attractive.
The writing is of a good standard and the posts are usually short, link plus comment style. Links are to a variety of interesting and cool places so good marks there.
Finally, Paul, the author, has gone out of his way to implement lots of whizzy features, like searching the site and web with Google, a poll, free email and webhosting, a comment system and “karma” voting.
In my opinion Pentameter deserves some recognition, but the actual blog fails to really engage and currently does too little to distinguish itself from others it’s peers.
Unrealised potential, I hope.Pentameter

A typical blogger layout, very featureless and incredibly tacky, this immediately made me wonder what I was in for. Entries are long and every sentence includes 3 dots somewhere in it:
“I am taking tomorrow off… and I am leaving early today.”
After 1 paragraph this gets unbelievably aggravating.
The entries are not of much interest to anyone who doesn’t know the author; also they are quite had to follow without reading preceding entries.
However I doubt whether this is supposed to be a thought provoking mind blowing blog, I thinks perhaps its meant to be a way of keeping a journal with no particular purpose, if that is the case then the author has succeeded, if not then he has failed miserably.
