My first impression was of the Partridge Family bus with those colored boxes all over it due to the frame around the left and top. Once I got past my first impression, I found a single mom with a lot of heart, much to say, and a point of view that might do many good to read.
I was unable to find out anything about the author, as there was no link to an “about†page, or anything of the sort. While it’s not altogether necessary, I like to know at least a little about the author whose words I’ll be digesting.
The layout is very straightforward; there are no surprises there. The content is good, really good. The writing style is easy to read, easy to understand, and depending on how much is going on in her life, either short and to the point, or detailed and flowing with descriptive writing that would make any fellow blogger proud.
Some personal moments and some insight into her point of view; her take on Shallow Hal has got to be one of the best I’ve seen anywhere. That alone is a great reason to check out this blog.
While not the most appealing visually, it rates well intellectually, and that’s what really makes all the difference.
